I believe in fairness & Accountability
I’m not a politician. I’m a retired reporter who believes in fairness & accountability. I spent 40 years as a journalist, studying and presenting both sides of issues for the public.
I’m a father, a husband, and a grandpa who believes the County Commission should work for you— the hard working tax-payers in our community— rather than special interest groups, developers, or friends of commissioners.
Leadership you can Trust
If elected, I promise to listen to the community, to base my decisions on fairness and science, and to work hard to make our community the best it can be.
My past management experience includes serving as a department head, supervising 40+ people and managing a million dollar budget.
I've won awards, including two regional Emmys, for excellence in reporting and anchoring your local news and a certificate of appreciation by the City of Wichita.
I believe in giving back to the community, which is why I'm running for this seat at this challenging time. My past volunteering includes serving as a board member for the March of Dimes, working with the American Diabetes Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Crop Walk. I've supported journalism scholarships through the Society for Professional Journalists.
As the son of a WWII Veteran and father of an Air Force Captain, I fully support our military.
